Whilst we were there the toilets were unisex. Not normally liked by Us. Prefer separate loos!! There were 2 blocks so in season there may be seperate

Private Toilet/Shower Block was a real treat. Pool area was great. I think we were lucky as a couple as we went when the children went back to school so it was lovely and quiet, not sure how that would be peak season!

Location is very good. Just a short walk to the village and sea. Pleasant quiet site with good size pitches Bread order in morning is good and reception very helpful with all queries
Access to water difficult also disposal of grey water. Not clear where this should go. Did not like unisex toilets although there were lots of them.

A very good site for walking and having a great beach near and small village for shops and great places to eat.
The swimming pool is a good size, but due to the open space and covering of the pool there were lot of dead flies in the water so didn't stay long in the pool. Went for a shower at 7.45am only to find they were cleaning them, not at the time stated on the door which was meant to be later. Other than that this is a nice clean site and will definitely be returning.

setting on the cliffs above beautiful village
we stayed in the same mobile home last year and there is STILL no blind ( volet) above the kitchen window, even though we told the staff about it last year. Privacy is difficult. Camper vans drive too fast , ignoring the speed limit, and throw up dust when it is dry.

Good pitch, big and with ACSI very cheap for 2 people and our dog. As novices with an old VW camper, we ran the battery down assuming the mains hookup was recharging our battery. WRONG. No battery after 3 days but the proprietors were brilliant and soon had us mobile again. Thanks both
Some of the signing was inadequate. I rescued several families trying to wash-up in cold water and pointed them to the excellent area which was heated early season. Better info' would help. On the same thing, toilets ware rotated in terms of cleaning - excellent - but we didn't have any clues which one was open.

Wir fahren seit über 20 Jahren mindestens einmal im Jahr her und immer wieder ist es ein erholsamer Urlaub. Veules les Roses ist für uns einer der schönsten Orte in der Normandie. in dem es viel zu entdecken gibt. Das Meer sieht jeden Tag anders aus. Hier wird es einem nie langweilig. Toller Standort zur Entdeckung der Umgebung, besonders für Wanderer, die wie wir Küstenwanderungen lieben. Mittwoch ist Markt im Ortskern und wer das Glück hat, im Frühjahr beim Kressefest da zu sein, der sollte unbedingt hingehen und nachher durch die kleinen Straßen des Ortes zurückschlendern.

Ruhige, gelassene Atmosphäre, schöne Plätze, die besonders auch für Zelte und Mini-Vans geeignet sind. Toll ist das Gehege mit dem Alpaka und Ziegen. Und super Idee mit dem Zelt auf Stelzen. Davon gerne mehr.
Die Duschen brauchen dringend eine Renovierung - da roch es sehr unangenehm und ein Kompost wäre toll.

Gute Lage des Platzes. Strand und Dorf fußläufig zu erreichen. Im September auch nicht zu überlaufen.
